FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What time do you open?

We officially open around 5pm everyday, but during the busy times at some locations we start earlier just to stop the queue building up - it's nice to be popular!

What time do you close?

During school holidays it's unlikely to be before 9pm but likely to be before 10pm. Just chat to the staff or checkout the boards at your nearest location.

Where are you?

Our locations vary year on year. Check out the locations link on the homepage for the most up to date information.

Do you still open in bad weather?

We try to open in most weather, but high winds can force us to close as it's dangerous for the hatches on our vehicles. Sometimes on nights with bad weather we will close early.

Do you have takeaway menus?

We feel like paper menus are a one-use type thing. For that reason we try to avoid them. Just snap a photo on site, or take a look on the website, that way you can keep it forever.

Do you sell Stoned branded t-shirts?

We often get asked, which we take as a compliment (blushes), but sorry, we don't.

Can I pre-order?

Due to the high volume of orders each night we are unable to take pre-orders for set days or times. Usually we try to keep the wait below 30 minutes... perfect time for a pint or three.

Can we phone up to order or collect at a later time?

We like to keep things face to face. Orders in person work much better! We actively encourage going for a stroll to take your mind off waiting and to prevent drooling. Just make sure you are back in time for your pizza.

Different Sizes or Half & Half

All our bases are 12 inch. We suggest children either share or have half now and eat the other half later - you can't beat pizza breakfast or as a snack.

Can I add or change my order after placing it?

If you get back to us super-quickly we may be able to change it if we haven't started making it - ask the team and we'll do what we can to help.

Do you sell drinks?

Yes. At MOST sites we sell a range of chilled soft drinks as well as a range of non-alcoholic beers, lager, cider and stout.

When is your quietest time?

Right at the beginning of the night is the only time you could be guaranteed a fast order. After the first fifteen minutes it's in the hands of the gods. Orders come in really unpredictably so it's anyones guess. Sorry we can't be more helpful

Do you take card?

All our sites are CARD ONLY. We repeat CARD ONLY.

Do you take cash?

It's CARD ONLY for now folks!

Can i order without paying or pay later?

It's payment on ordering please! Without the completion of the transaction the order ticket won't be printed and so won't be put in the queue to be cooked. Come prepared folks!

How long does it take for a refund?

If we've accidentally charged you for something you didn't want we'll process a refund. It can take up to seven days to appear back in your account. If you have any queries please contact us quoting the location, time of order, total value of order and the last four digits of your payment card. This helps us find and verify your transaction.

Do you do gluten-free bases?

Yes, we carry about 5 GF bases per night - sometimes we'll sell none for days on end, other days we sell out instantly. These bases aren't suitable for coeliacs as they are cooked in the same oven as other pizzas and prepped in the same area resulting in unavoidable cross contamination.

Are your pizzas suitable for nut allergies?

We don't recommend any of our pizzas for people with a nut allergy as all ingredients are prepped in a kitchen that contains and handles nuts.

Do you do vegan pizzas?

Of course! We have a great vegan section on the menu on each site, take a look and send us your thoughts.

Can we pre-order a gluten free base?

Sorry, we don't take pre-orders of any kind. Come as early as you can! As demand grows for gluten free bases we'll increase the amount we bring to reduce the risks of running out.

Can I bring my own toppings for you to cook?

Unfortunately we can't cook anything in our oven that hasn't been prepped by our kitchen team, but feel free to add what you like after we hand it over!

Is your pizza Halal?

Sorry, we don’t currently offer halal meat options, but we’ve got plenty of delicious vegetarian and vegan choices that everyone can enjoy.

Can I bring in my own toppings?

Can I create my own pizza?

Absolutely! Whether you're feeling classic or creative, you can pick your favourite from our menu or build your own from the toppings we offer.

What is your spiciest pizza?

That’d be our Chilli Beef — it’s got a kick! Not for the faint-hearted, but perfect for spice lovers. And we carry Sriracha sauce so you can add spice to any pizza.

Can I bring in my own toppings?

Can i create my own pizza?

Absolutely! Whether you're feeling classic or creative, you can pick your favourite from our menu or build your own from the toppings we offer.

Do you do vegan cheese?

Yes! We’ve got vegan cheese available, so you can still enjoy a seriously good slice without the dairy.

Is your dough fresh?

Always. We make our dough fresh and let it prove to perfection — it's the secret to that beautifully chewy, crisp, wood-fired base we’re known for.

Is your pizza Halal?

Do you do weddings or private events?

We're sorry but we don't don’t cater for weddings, corporate events or private parties — our focus is on serving up fresh, wood fired pizza in the best locations.

Can you come to music festivals or public events?

If it's not during the school holidays then possibly, just call us to discuss. We've done the VIP area at Glastonbury, Somersault Festival, and a few other big events. If you're organising a festival or event and think we’d be a good fit, drop us a message.

Do you offer loyalty cards or discounts?

Not at the moment, but keep an eye on our social channels for special deals and promos!

How do I get a job at Stoned?

The absolute best thing to do is to email us at hello@stoned.org.uk and/or come and speak to us when we're open.

We usually hire new staff for the season around March so that's your best chance. Other than that it's just topping up here and there. If you're exceptional we'll always find space for you.
